Bernard Joseph Sosko

Bernard J. Sosko, 75, of Unity Twp., peacefully passed away in his sleep on June 21, 2026. He was born in Greensburg on April 28, 1951, a son of the late Michael and Irene Sosko.

Prior to retirement he worked as a journeyman machinist.

In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and was proud to serve as a former officer of the Mutual VFD Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Michael and Steven Sosko.

He is survived by his three children; Nick (Linda), Jason (Candace), and Chrissy Sosko; his four grandchildren; Maddy, Sydney, Lacy, and Nicholas; his sister; Irene (Ernest) Miscik.

Family and friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the HOFFER WILT FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, where transfer prayers will be said at 9:15 AM Thursday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Florian Church. Burial to follow in St. Florian Cemetery.
