Billie B. Sotkowski, 88, of Norvelt, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Born on April 27, 1937, in Anderson, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Bert and Olean Lesser.

Her passions included clipping recipes, canning, thrifting, and antiquing. She was known for her keen eye at yard sales and her ability to find hidden treasures. Billie's compassionate nature was evident in her role as a caregiver to her husband, John "Jack" Sotkowski, to whom she was married for 63 years until his passing in 2022.

In addition to her parents and husband, Billie was preceded in death by her brother Buddy Lesser, and her sister Bunnie Zeske.

She is survived by her two devoted daughters, Sherry Gettemy and her husband Steven, and Greta Pavick. Billie also leaves behind cherished nieces and nephews, who will forever remember her warmth and generosity.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, from 12 p.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 1 p.m., officiated by Rev. Frank Podolinski, at Hoffer Wilt Funeral Home, 2245 Mount Pleasant Rd., Norvelt.

Billie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
