Christine H. Moninger

Christine H. Moninger, 77, of New Stanton, passed away on July 29, 2025, at the IHS Westmoreland Hospital with her family by her side.

Throughout her life, Christine had an array of hobbies and interests that brought her happiness. She loved birds and German Shepherds, enjoyed putting together puzzles, and found fulfillment in her gardening endeavors. However, nothing brought her more joy than attending her grandchildren’s sports events, where her enthusiastic spirit and support shone brightly.

She leaves behind her dear husband, Robert “Bob” Moninger, two sons, Doug (Tracey) and Jon (Hillary) Moninger, her cherished grandchildren: Kayla (Nick) Moninger-Lawrence, Douglas (Buddy) Moninger, Chelsea (Sage) Houser, Will (Gloria) Houser, Mary Moninger, and Jacob Daugherty and her great-grandchildren Zane, Colson, Nathan, and Kellin, her brothers, Donny (Shirley) and Larry (Beverly) Carpenter, and a niece, Breanna Amador. 

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving nature, commitment to family, and passion for life will leave an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
