Dennis Shafer

Dennis R. Shafer, 63, of Acme, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025. He was born March 26, 1962, in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late James and Rachel "Bonnie" Shafer. Dennis was the proprietor of Shafer Carpentry for over 40 years.

He enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing bingo, and collecting junk.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Niccole Shafer, and his brother, James Shafer Jr.

He leaves behind his wife, Norma, and his daughter, Kati Hawk, and her husband, Bob.

There will be no viewing. A private burial will take place at Byerly Freeman Cemetery.
