Edwin M. Booher 76 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday October 12, 2018 at Frick Hospital with his family by his side. Born July 12, 1942 son of the late Merle and Grace Snyder Booher. Ed belonged to Mt. Joy Church and worked for Lennox’s Crystal for many years. He was a veteran of the Army from 1961 to 1964. Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years Alice I. (Underwood) Booher, his children Kenneth Booher and Tonya, Sandy Steyer and Tom, Amy Murphy, Mike Booher and a daughter in law Karen Booher. Edwin is also survived by his grandchildren Charles and Heidi Murphy, Jacob and Krystal Murphy, Grace Murphy, Kendall (Booher) Willey and Brandon, Cody Booher, Heidi Booher Caitlyn Steyer and Sarah Steyer, great grandchildren; Mackenzie Willey, Corbin Willey and Evelyn Murphy, two brothers; Gerald and Kaye Booher, Christopher and Dorothy Booher, two sisters Bonnie Booher and Arlene and Allan Sipos, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Raymond M. Booher in 2016 and a sister Mary Jane. Family and friends will be received Monday October 15, 2018 11-1pm at which time the service will begin with Pastor Lee Smith officiating in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt.
