Eileen Mazie Morrison

Eileen Mazie Morrison, 85, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at Excela Health-Latrobe Hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Latrobe, the daughter of the late Glenn and Catherine (Grabiak) Wright. Eileen was a member of St. Florian's Catholic Church, Trauger, and was a former volunteer at Latrobe Hospital. In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh N. Morrison Sr.; grandsons, Nicky, Damian and Danny Morrison; and her brother, Ronald Wright. She is survived by four sons, John (Judy) Morrison, Nick (Carol) Morrison, Sam (Charlene) Morrison and Scott (Lisa) Morrison; and three daughters, Janet McAnany, Kathy (Phil) Riggle and Kelly Domasky. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sammy, Rachael, Aimee, Melissa, Mary, Valerie, Bobby, Matt, Adam, Joshua, Phillip, Christine, Marie and Patrick; and 24 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, in the JAY HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. Transfer prayers will be held at 12:45 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by her funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. at St. Florian's Church, United, with the Rev John A. Sedlak. Interment will follow at St. Florian's Cemetery, Trauger.
