Jacqueline Pinkerton

January 23, 1937 — March 18, 2026

Naples, FL

Jacqueline Pinkerton (Firment) of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026 at home.

She was 89. Born in Calumet, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anne Wasil Firment and the late Andrew Firment, and the second oldest of nine children (the late Geraldine Hricik, and survived by Conrad Firment, Andrew Firment, Dorie Minerd, Mary Helen Kulha, Tom Firment, Tim Firment and Margie Firment).

Jacqui graduated from Hurst High School in Norvelt, PA as salutatorian of her class. She then attended Mercy Hospital School of nursing and worked as a nurse for many years. She later worked up the corporate ladder, becoming a safety manager at Honeywell in Fort Washington, PA.

After retiring, she split her time between Ocean City, New Jersey, and Naples, Florida, and became an active golfer. Jacqui was unrivaled on the golf course, getting multiple holes-in-one.

Jacqui was always polished and elegant. Jacqui loved her family deeply and her warmth and charm extended to a large circle of friends. She was a consummate hostess, entertaining people throughout the years with her excellent cooking and throwing epic parties.

Jacqueline is survived by her son, Joseph Mattern; daughter-in-law, Susan Mattern; three grandchildren: Sara (Francisco) Mattern, William (Erin) Mattern, Amanda (Daniel) Damico; and one great-grandson, Troy. She is going to be reunited in heaven with her husband, William Marsh, and son, William Mattern.

We are also thankful for her caretakers of many years, Mercy and Hazel.

A private service for family will be held at St. Vincent's in Latrobe, PA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffer Wilt Funeral Home, Norvelt, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Parkinson's Foundation.
