Janet Marie (Molitor) Dillon

Janet Marie (Molitor) Dillon 54, of Greensburg passed away Monday January 2, 2017 peacefully at home with her husband by her side. She was born June 15, 1962 a daughter of the late Douglas (former motorcycle policeman) and June (former Navy nurse) Molitor of New York. Prior to her illness she was a Humane Police Officer for the Humane Society of Westmoreland County. Jan with all of her strength fought a courageous battle during her illness. She was a graduate of Carmel High School New York where she was a well-known downhill ski racer and was on the ski patrol in Carmel New York. Also Jan served on the Board of Directors for Second Chance Equine Association where she also held the office of secretary over a couple years period. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Richard (Rick) Dillon, Brother Douglas Molitor and his wife Suzanne and their children Kyle and Cindy of Seymour Indiana, step son Matthew Dillon of Colorado Springs and three step grandchildren. Her memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Jay A Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt, PA 15674.
