Janet Musgrove

Janet Pearl Musgrove, 85, of Kecksburg, PA, died on February 8,2025, with her son by her side after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and dementia. 

Janet was born on October 10, 1939, in Fairhope, PA, the daughter of the late Ira and Carrie Emerick. 

She attended Hyndman High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband James Musgrove, and second husband Edward Musgrove, her sister Maretta Mayhew, brothers Francis Emerick, Homer Emerick, Dewey Emerick, and Roger Emerick.

She is survived by her son Thomas Musgrove of Kecksburg and a daughter Linda Musgrove (Scott) Kaczmarek of Greensburg; stepchildren Kevin Musgrove; Ruth (Keith) Burk; grandson Nicholas Musgrove; a granddaughter Brook (Mark) Logoyda; great-granddaughter Allison Logoyda; a sister, Minnie Lightcap of Kearneysville, WV; a special niece, Marguerite Kastner of Fairhope, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5-8pm at HOFFER WILT FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt, PA where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am with her family officiating.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery Kecksburg PA.
