Mary "Sandy" C Horwatt

Mary C.  “Sandy” Horwatt, 77, of Greensburg, passed away surrounded by her family on May 8, 2024 at RNC Greensburg. She was born in Greensburg on July 13, 1946, a daughter of the late Carl and Ethel True.

Sandy enjoyed the rolling waves and sandy shores in Ocean City, NJ. She cherished horseback riding and found excitement in the vibrant lights of the casinos, especially the thrill of the slot machines. 

Sandy is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Horwatt, her two children, James (Amy) Horwatt, and Jamie (Matthew) Crise, four grandchildren, Paige, Zachary, Austin, and Mischa, and her sister Carole Doughty.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Norvelt Roosevelt Hall, 2325 Mount Pleasant Rd., Mt. Pleasant PA 15666, from 12-3pm.
