Maryann Polcha

Maryann Polcha, 91, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023. She was born on May 19, 1931, to John and Dorothy Kalinay. Maryann was the oldest of 5 children, Victoria (Bill), Elizabeth (Dom), Terry (Zack) and John (Susan). Maryann had 2 sons, David (Patricia) and Thomas (Karen), 8 grandchildren, David (Teresa), Patrick, Nicholas (Kaylan), Rebecca (Mark), Sean (Marianna), Scott (Angela), Jacob (Julia), and Alicia (Riley) and 6 great-grandchildren Elin, Owen, Hailey, Emma, Aurora, and Rosalie. She worked 2 fulltime jobs, caring for her patients at the Harmon House up until her early 80’s, along with working for the Diocese of Greensburg and Bishop Bosco. She enjoyed Spaghetti Mondays, her morning coffee and donut dates, her bottomless coffee supply from Patrick, traditional family holidays, and her hour-long phone calls with her loved ones. She was also a devout Catholic that instilled her many values and faith in her family. Daughter, Mom, Grandma, Aunt, friend, no matter the title, she was the best, the lady with the heart of Gold!
