A passionate participant in the Norvelt Volunteer Fire Department, she devoted much of her time to serving others. Regina was also a faithful member of St. Raymond of the Mountains Parish, where she found spiritual nourishment and fellowship.
She took great joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as walking, sewing, cooking, and baking, embodying the true spirit of a homemaker. Her warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents Regina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Golkosky Sr.; her sisters, Bernice Miller, Joann Hamm, Patty Mull, and Betty Durstine; and her brothers, Thomas Eugene Hamm, Merwin Hamm Jr., Robert Hamm, and John "Jack" Hamm.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her children Kathy (Douglas) Dively of Bumpass, VA, Richard (Jennifer) Golkosky Jr. of Nokesville, VA, and Michael (Johanna) Golkosky of Acme; her seven grandchildren, Brian (Abbey), Kristen, Kylie (Braden), Alyssa, Emmie, Cloey, and Lane; and three great-grandchildren, Miles, Margot, and Peyton. Regina is also survived by her siblings Shirley (Howard) Coffman of Irwin, and Richard "Dick" (Mary) Hamm of Butler, as well as her sister-in-law Sandy Hamm of Youngwood, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff of the Villages at Harmon House (Amber House) for their compassionate care, and to the entire Norvelt Volunteer Fire Department family for their unwavering support.
